LMR14010A: 96% duty for 24Vin

Hi team,

The customer would like to use this device with Vin=24V and Vout=9~19V at 96% duty, but can the device be surely used at 96% duty for 24Vin? The datasheet is saying the Dmax is 96%(typ), so I think the 96% duty for 24VIn has no problem considering a drop of Ron, but I would like to double-check it with you.

One issue may happen is when duty cycle hit max value, the boot cap voltage may not enough, so the devices will try to refresh the boot votlage by turn off the high side mosfet . the DC value is still be regulated but the ripple will become larger.

The duty cycle is about 80% for 24V to 19V conversion unless Vin drop to 20V and duty cycle increase to 96%.
