TPS3700: TPS3700DDC

Part Number: TPS3700

Hi Team,

TI p/n TPS3700DDC has number of packaging options: TPS3700DDCR, TPS3700DDCT  and TPS3700DDCR2

For some reason those pats have different device marking:

TPS3700DDCR and  TPS3700DDCT - with marking PXVQ

TPS3700DDCR2-  with marking PB4Q

Please explain this difference.

Thanks,

Shlomi

  • Shlomi,

There is absolutely no difference between the devices. The only difference is the orientation of the device inside the tape when ordering. DDCR has pin one in the bottom left when the sprocket holes are on the top of the tape. DDCR2 has pin one in the top right when the sprocket holes are at the top. This is described in Pack Materials - page 1 at the end of the datasheet. This is only useful if using the tape in a pick and place machine or some other machine that needs the device in a specific orientation when inside the tape.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks!
