TPS65263-Q1: Difference between TPS65263-Q1 and TPS65263-1Q1

Part Number: TPS65263-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65263-1Q1,

Hi team,

Could you please help to share the difference between TPS65263-Q1 and TPS65263-1Q1?

Thanks!

  • Hi Fery,

    One difference is default behavior in light load condition. TPS65263-Q1 is PSM, while the TPS65263-1Q1 is FCCM. Both devices support changing the mode via I2C.
    For more differences if exist, let me check for you later.

    Regards,
    Hao
  • Fery,

    Find my inputs.

    1. Default behavior in light load condition. TPS65263-Q1 is PSM, while the TPS65263-1Q1 is FCCM

    2. Refer datasheet table 5 "VOUT1_COM: Buck1 Command Register Field Descriptions" (Same difference in table 6 and table 7)

    for TPS65263-Q1:

    0: Enable buck 1 PSM operation at light load;
    1: Forced buck 1 FCCM mode operation at light load

    for TPS65263-1Q1:

    0: Enable buck 1 FCCM operation at light load;
    1: Forced buck 1 PSM mode operation at light load

    Others are same for these two devices.
