We have used this part LM2588-5.0 in our earlier design & now a days we are facing issues in circuit,

We are using this IC as a Triple-Output Flyback Regulator (refer fig.28 from Datasheet)

Also share the formula to consider for the regulation of remained winding (rather than Main Winding Or Controlled winding)

one of output capacitor in multiple outputs is getting damaged because of excessive voltage stress.

so now we are doing the analysis of this Flyback Regulator IC.

So kindly support any supportive documents related to cross regulation as well as pspice model of this part for simulation purpose.

  • Hi Prakash,
    could you share the schematic of the circuit? which winding voltage is too high?
    the device can only regulate the wind voltage that is connected to the feedback pin. the voltage of other winding are impacted by the winding ratio, the leakage inductance and the loading. there is no an easy formula to calculate the voltage of each winding. normally we add zener to limit the voltage level of the other windings.
