Hi eli,

Yes. LM5001 has a 75V internal mosfet and the current limit is 1A. It's better to let it work at DCM because of the small load current and maximum duty cycle limit.

Hi eli,

Because webench only support simulation at CCM. It always tries to calculate a proper value of inductance but fails. The maximum duty of lm5001 is 85% and that's why the webench shows calculated duty cycle exceeds limit.
You could download TINA model from ti.com and use TINA to simulate it.
