Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BOOSTXL-BATPAKMKII, EV2400, BQSTUDIO, BQ24250
Hi,
I'm looking to obtaining the charge / relax / discharge / relax testing as described in the Simple Guide to Chemical ID Selection Tool (GPC)
(SLVA725) in order to get a ChemID for our battery.
I'll be using the EV2400 and a BoostXL-BATPAKMKII to get the raw data.
My question is: can I get the relaxation voltage values by just removing the USB cable from the BATPAK?
The problem is that the charger and gauge chips will still be powered by the battery, therefore there will be small current drawn from the battery and it will not be fully relaxed.
Will the voltage and current values be good enough, considering the current drawn by the charger and gauge?
Best regards.
