For TPS7B7701QPWPRQ1 , for short to battery condition , the output of current sense voltage remains low . Whereas , when there is short to Ground condition ,the output of current sense voltage is 2.55V .
Please let me know why it doesn't work for short to battery condition.

Is the LDO enabled when you apply your short to battery? The Short-to-Battery detection only occurs before the LDO is enabled. After the LDO is already enabled, you will only detect an error by shorting to the battery if you trigger the reverse current protection.
