Hi,

What is the thermal shutdown temperature of the TPS65217C?  I see thermal shutdown mentioned in the datasheet, but I can't find the specific temperature where the shutdown occurs.

    There are two types of thermal protection on the TPS65217.

    The first is overtemperature shutdown, OTS, which is specified on page 14 of the datasheet. The typical value is 150 degrees Celsius.

    The second type is specific to the battery charger, called Thermal Regulation, TJ(REG), which is the temperature at which charge current is decreased. This is specified on page 10 of the datasheet with a minimum value of 111 degrees Celsius and a maximum value of 123 degrees Celsius.
