TPS72615 reset pin maximum allowed current

TPS72615 - What is the maximum current the reset output FET can safely sink? Datasheet specifies 700uA current for the guaranteed 0.4V max output, I want to run a little more current (~2mA) to lit LED.

Sorry, but the part number field does not recognize TPS72615 part, so I left it as generic device.

Hi,

The output low voltage spec for reset and PG pins is characterized and tested with the maximum recommended sink current, which is 700 uA for the TPS726. I suggest using the reset output to drive an external transistor that can sink enough current for the LED in your application if possible.

Alternatively, the TPS746 is a 1 A LDO with a PG pin capable of sinking up to 2 mA for input voltages of 2.75 V or higher. You can search for additional LDOs with a reset or PG feature that support your application's requirements on the TI website here:
