My customer is wondering if there are suggest time for the WDI to trigger?

    The watchdog timeout is configured using the WDT and WDR pins. There is no specific time as it depends on the needs of the application. Please review section 7.3.1 Implemented Window Watchdog Settings for details on the configurations. If WDT is tied to VDD for example, this sets the upper boundary to 2.5 seconds. The lower boundary is set as a ratio to the upper boundary via WDR. Please also refer to Table 6.7 Switching characteristics.
