TPS27082L: output rise time setting

Hello,

Our customer using TPS27082L and they want to change the output rise time longer than 1ms (longest time in the datasheet Table.1)

Specifically, they would like to set trise to 5ms with VIN=3.3V, R1=130kohm, C1=0.22uF.

In their test, the device could work with around 5ms trise by above settings.

However, is it not recommended to use with beyond the value of Table.1 ? If it is not, please let us know the reason.

Thanks for reaching out on E2E!

There isn't a maximum rise time for the load switch. Table 1 provides a table of recommended values, but you can use a larger CT cap for a larger rise time.
