There are two keepout area. Is this area should keep out all trace ?

The Layout example seems not do so.

Hi Alan,

You can refer to the 11.2 Layout Example to place a big area plane connected to the GND pin. The keep out area mentioned in the above figure is tell engineer don't place other electrical via or routing close to the IC.
