LM2575: Can LM2575 be used to replace Renesas, M51995?

Hello guys,

One of my customers is looking for any TI device can replace Renesas, M51995 because the device is EOL soon.

I think LM2575 or UC2524A could replace the Renesas device. Is my understanding correct? If do you have any recommended device, could you please let me know?

Yes, if you need the same package then you can use the LM2575.
If you can change the package, then we have plenty of newer device available, surface mount available.

You might want to look at LM43601 or the LM2675 or the LM22675
