Hi,

Could you tell me about TPS54526 max duty?
I got the following question from the customer.

1.When searching for products on the website,

The duty cycle of TPS54526 was written as 95%.

However, the actual Max Duty is smaller than that.

Is this a mistake in description?

2.The actual duty calculation is below.
   Is my opinion correct?
   Vout max = Vin min * ( 1 - Fsw * 330E-9).

Customer condition is :
Vin=6V to 18V
Vout=5.5V
Iout=4A

Hi Yusuke,

Yes, you are correct, the max duty is limited by Toff.

I checked my product line, looks TPS54531 may match your application, but still can't fully support 6Vin/5.5Vout at corner case. but anyway you can check it first.

Duty value of the some Dcap2 product on the web is incorrect.
Are there plans to be fixed?
