LM8342: SCL-S pin connection

Dear Sir;

I have a question about LM8342 SCL-S pin connection.

Dataseet says SCL-S pin is for in-circuit PCB testing and 15kohm pull up is in Fig27 and Fig28.

But we can set vcom using I2C( SCL and SDA) without SCL-S.

When not using SCL-S, how should bet SCL-S connection?

Is it okay to open, or should be pull-up register ?

Hello,

If SCL-S is not needed in the application, you can connect this pin the GND. A resistor is not required.

Thank you for your reply.

I read WPn function, and then I understand.

When WPn=L , SCL-S line is open to SCL.

It is okay to SCL-S connects GND or VDD.

But when WPn=H, I have to use SCL-S instead of SCL.
