BQ77PL157A4225: max current of OUT pin

Hi,

one of my customers has inquired on the maximum allowable current that can be drawn safely from the OUT pin. In the datasheet, we only found the test condition of 0.1 mA.

What happens if we were to draw about 2mA permanently from this pin?

Hi Phil,

The datasheet does not clearly indicate whether this should be okay, so I am checking with the design team. I will let you know once I hear back from them.

Hi Phil,

The feedback from the design team after looking at the design database is that it should be able to support 2mA. The device was not characterized to for this case, but it should work from a design perspective.
