TPS62160-Q1: Voltage Reference over Temperature

Part Number: TPS62160-Q1

Hello Team,

The voltage reference of TPS62160-Q1 is given in the datasheet with 800mV typical at TJ 25°C. At room temperature 780mV was measured at the feedback node.

The total given output voltage tolerance is mentioned to be +/-3% over the whole temperature range.

The question is how temperature dependent is the internal voltage reference if there is already a 2.5% deviation at room temperature to achieve the +/- 3% output voltage accuracy?

Best Regards

Joern

  • Hi Joern,

the accuracy specification is over the whole recommended junction temperature range. This includes room temperature of course.
The VREF voltage is defined in respect to AGND. Depending on the GND connection of the metering equipment there may be another source for a mismatch.

    Best regards,
    Juergen
