LM5119: Maximum output current of LM5119

Part Number: LM5119

Hello,

Notice that in TI.com, the  Iout(max) is 15A, which specs for LM5119 that limit this output current ability?

    HI Zhao,

    The current rating is mainly decided by MOSFET, not by controller.
    On the controller side, usually the gate drive loss is larger when it drives MOSFET with higher current rating.
    It should be doable if you want to use LM5119 for current higher than 15A.
