Hello,

can the outputs of Two High-Efficiency Step-Down DC-DC Converters tied together to double output current?

On schematic of eval board is some hint with feedback path.

    Dimitri,

    The LP8733 devices are capable of dual phase operation, which will double the amount of current that can be supplied. However, the dual phase mode must be programmed in at the factory. In this case the BUCK0 and BUCK1 outputs are tied together, and the BUCK1 FB pin is used as a GND sense pin.

    If you need dual phase configuration you can contact your local TI sales rep. If a custom program needs to be made, then we need to evaluate the business case for it, but we also may have a pre-programmed solution that meets your requirements (output voltage, load, sequencing, etc.).
