BQ27426: After do the GPCRA0, update status is 0x06

As title... Why it become 0x06? I can't find out the description for bit3. What does it mean? Thanks!

Hi Jerry,
Update status 06 means learning was successful which means qmax and Ra has learned. GPC ra0 does the caculation for Ra and qmax, hence one can say it has learnt. However You can change that back to 00 as this is a system side ROM gauge and the update status on such gauges is different and should be 00 not 06. Change it to 00.

But TRM didn't show the bit2. Bit0 is Qmax update, bit1 is Ra table update, what does bit2 mean?

The TRM says if you want to perform learning, bit 0 and bit 1 of the TRM should be set. ie 11 => 03. Update status should be 03 if you want to start learning and then it decremennt once learnig has occured. Qmax and Resup flags will be set if learning has occured.

Yes, I used bit0 and bit1 for learning cycle. So, what's the bit2 mean?

nothing. Ignore. It would have been defined in the TRM if that is a flag you should be concerned about.
