I found the long slit at LED+ output of TPS92641EVM.

I want to know what the slit is for?

Hello,

Since the output current is only 1A I would guess that slit is there to steer the current to the output connector. The board has a lot of planes on that layer that do not really need to be there. It was probably just a layout preference.
