The ADC count from the result register need to be deducted from the value in the TEMPREF register then multiplied by the "Temperature resolution" from the table above, and that will provide the temperature elevation above room temperature (25 C).

For example, let's assume the register TEMPREF is showing the value of 3030 decimal.

Your result register value of C51 hex translates to 3153 decimal,

Therefore the temperature is  ((3153 - 3030) * 0.0969) + 25 = 11.92 + 25 = 36.9 degrees C
