Hello!

I was trying to convert LMR14030SEVM to an isolated topology by replacing the inductor with a transfomer. I got the output when both the primary side(non-isolated) and secondary side(isolated) outputs were loaded; but when the primary is not loaded I am not getting any output in the secondary side. I am not able to figure out  why is it happening?

    Hi,

    You need Fly-back or Fly-Buck solution for your application. typical part like LMR23630 with force PWM mode for Fly-Buck conversion or LM5180 for Fly-back conversion.

    LMR14030 is non-sync converter, it can't inject energy to transformer primary side at no load condition, so secondary side has no output.
