Hi

Do you have step down regulator which can synchronize to  8KHz clock?

    na,

    8 kHz is an extremely low frequency. The lowest switching frequency device that I know of is TL5001 with 2 kHz minimum. For buck converters, the design equation for the inductor value has Fsw in the denominator, so 8 kHz will drive the inductor to an extremely large value. Modern switching converters will typically have a minimum switching frequency of 100 to 200 kHz.

    Do you only need to synchronize to an 8 KHz clock, but operate at a higher frequency? I'm sure you could devise an external circuit to achieve that. If that is an option, we can research it.
