Hey Belhaj,

I am unsure where you are getting that equation.

The following equation is in the datasheet that talks about how to use resistors to find the output voltage.

Hey Belhaj,

You are correct on the first point. I did not notice.

The output current will be dependent on the load you have.
It will simply be Vout/Rload.

Hey Belhaj,

If you draw 5 A from the part, the part will supply 5 A.

There is no need to set the amount of output current.

Hey Belhaj,

The output current depends very little on R1 and R2.
The output load should draw almost all of the current.
