Dear Sir/Mam

Kindly guide us for TPS613222A part. we have some query regarding this part.

Input voltage apply through the Li-ion battery Vin range is 3.7V to 4.2V

1. Can I use the TPS613322 for input voltage from 3.7 to 4.2V and output voltage from 5V @ 1.8A current?

2. Schottky diode is necessary for 5V@1.8V design? kindly suggest a suitable diode part for design

3. What is Iq for 5V Vout design?

Hi Vishal:

1. No. The min value of the Isw_limit is only 1.1A for TPS613222A. And you could find the relationship of Ipeak and Iout with the equation(3) in datasheet.
2. Sorry, it could support 5V/1.8A.
3. You could check the spec in the page 5 of datasheet as: IQ Quiescent current into VOUT pin.... VOUT = 1.2×Target..... 6.5(typ)....10 uA(max)

We have TPS61022 with larger current capability. And it needn't additional schottky diode. www.ti.com/.../tps61022.pdf

Okay Noted

Kindly suggest ti another part for fixed output 5V @ 1.8 A.

If fixed output is not availabile then also suggest us adjustable output booster with less Periperal and size.
