TPS43351-Q1: TPS43351-Q1 Shut down current

Part Number: TPS43351-Q1

Hi team,

Could you please help to check, for the shut down current when both BUCK A/B are off, is it means the current only flow into VBAT pin, or both VIN and VBAT pin?

  • Fery,
VIN supplies the current for the bucks, internal band gap, and other internal circuits. VBAT is the main controller input. When the bucks are disabled, the controller current is still active so VBAT draws most of the current. VIN still draws some current on idle circuits internal. The answer to your question is that both VBAT and VIN will draw some current.
