Hi,

I would like to ask is it necessary to do impedance matching on differential Pairs?

Does it make a defference on data transmission without doing impedance matching?

    On the data side, it is better to check with PHY supplier.
    On the power side, it is recommended to have similar impedance on each pair set as it will improve the current balancing when you deliver power over 4 pair. Thanks.
