TPIC6273: how to test Output Clamp Voltage 45V and Continuous Current 250mA

Part Number: TPIC6273

Hi team,

MY customer wants to test our device for below 2 items on bench,

(1) Output Clamp Voltage up to 45 V

-> Can we use figure 4 - Single-Pulse Avalanche Energy Test Circuit and Waveforms for (1). Any alternative idea?

(2) Transistor Outputs of 250-mA Continuous Current.

-> They did a quick test using DC power supply, providing 45V and current set to 250mA. It was damaged, so I was guessing the DC source - CV to CC transition probably not limit the current fast enough...   Any suggestion how to setup the test (2) properly?

Thanks a lot!

Andrew
