    I can assist with the BQ24450 question.
    The device is derived from a much older part and we want to discourage customers from designing it into new products. This part is a linear regulator with low efficiency and large solution size, acceptable solution some years ago. Switching converter have improved greatly and BQ24610 or similar would be much better alternative to the BQ24450.
    The device is NRND but not EOL and can still be ordered.
