LP87332D: Question about LP87332D pin CLKN/GPO2

Hi TI,

When use LP87332D combine with LP873220 as the PMIC solution to power TDA2EG-17, why we should tie pin 10(CLKIN/GPO2) and pin 27 (PGOOD) together of LP87332D? why we cannot leave the pin10 floate?

Jason,

It looks like GPO2 is set on a 5ms delay, while GPO is set to a 3.5ms delay. I believe the point of tying this to both PGOOD signals is to ensure that not only are all of the other regulators on, but that external LDO has also been given adequate time to turn on as well.
