Hi team,
My customer is using the TPS3897 now, and the sense input negative voltage will arrive -0.6v, over the Absolute Maximum (-0.3v), whether it has risks here? Thanks.

Frank,
This seems like a voltage transient more than an actual issue that will cause the part to dysfunction. Is your application particularly noisy? We recommend placing a bypass capacitor on SENSE to reduce spikes like this, and could likely prevent a voltage undershoot as you're seeing.
Let me know if you need more help on this.
Thanks,
Abhinav.
Hi Abhinav,
If the customer cannot change the schematic now, whether it has risks here? Thanks.
Frank,
It should still work fine, but if you face any issues as a result of this, it is most likely due to high noise in your circuit. I believe functionality should stay unaffected, however.
Thanks,
Abhinav.
