Hi all,

We don't have EV2400 or EV2300.

We designed a board that is identical to Tida-00982.

We use a 2 cells battery (7.4 V) with a capacity of 3000 mAh.

How can we set the data flash memory.

Is there any ".gg.csv" file for Tida-00982 that we can use ?

No, we don't have stock gg.csv files for the gauge. However you can change design capacity and qmax to 3000 for 2 cells and set DA Config: CC0, CC1 to 01 and then run a learning cycle per https://training.ti.com/bq40z50-setup-and-going-production after finding out chemistry data using GPCCEDV for bq4050 or GPCCHEM for bq40z50.

I generated "GPCPackaged.zip" with bqstudio and upload it to GPCCEDV. But the reply is "MiscInfo.txt" file containing the following message "ProcessType=CEDV".

The ProcessType was equal to 1. "ProcessType=1".

I un-zipped "GPCPackaged.zip" and changed this ligne in "config.txt" from "ProcessType=1" to "ProcessType=CEDV" and re-zipped "GPCPackaged.zip".

I then upload the new "GPCPackaged.zip" to GPCCEDV. But at this time, there is no reply from gpc_do_not_reply@ti.com.

What can be the problem ?

The tool is up, we just checked. I have informed the server personnel to restart the tool. Please check again.

Please upload your log here so that we can check it. It looks like it might be a problem with your log as the tool is up.

The 6 log files are the following:

log_files.zip

And the configuration is:

Number of series cells: 2

Cell termination voltage in mV: 3000

SOC % where FCC learned: 7

Top SOC % interval to fit: 9

Bottom SOC % interval to fit: 3

Chemistry type: LiCoO2

Please read the GPCCEDV document. Your logs need to be at a 1s interval with a small rest period before and after the dsg. None of the files in the zip attached meet the requirement.

Hi,

Please open bqstudio, click on menu Window, Preferences, Registers and change logging interval from 4000 to 1000 in the scan/log interval (milliseconds) text box and click OK. Now, when you start logging some lines may be logged at a >1s interval but it's OK so long as it comes from bqstudio.
