WEBENCH® Tools/TPS62827: Efficiency not good

Hello Sir,

I try tps62827 3.3Vin to 0.95v@4A efficiency only 70% full load.

Previous solution tlv62095 still have 80% effieiency at full load, may I know why tps62827 better Rds_on but poor effiiciency than tlv62095 ? TKS !

Hello,

I tried to open the link but is only the page to start a new design. Can you send again or export to another format? Did you check that the passives are the same in the comparison between tps62827 and tlv62095? Did you have a look into the efficiency curves of both devices into the D/S?
