CCS/CSD25404Q3: Boost with high efficiency using a PMOS

Hi team, 

I'm developing a boost with high efficiency and i will exchange the diode for this Mosfet P-Channel. 

I'm using this specifically because has a small drain-source resistance. Can you help me to find another good component to help me on this?

The frequency of my PWM is 500 KHz.

    Thanks for you interest in TI MOSFETs. I would be glad to help you find another good component. I'm just not sure what you're looking for. I've seen a few examples of a boost converter using a PMOS synchronous rectifier. However, most integrated synchronous boost controllers use a NMOS switch for the synchronous rectifier. Are you looking for a boost controller or perhaps a FET gate driver? Please share additional details and I will try to help you.

    My project use a  PMOS synchronous in the boost  to  replace the diode and to have less loss power.

    Thanks for the response. I understand that you want to replace the diode with a P-channel FET to reduce power loss and improve efficiency of the boost converter. I'm still unsure what you need help with. Let me ask you a few questions:

    1. What are you using to control the boost converter (close the loop and generate PWM signal)?
    2. How are you driving the gates of the FETs?
    3. What information do you need from TI to help you with your design?

    When replacing the diode with a P-channel you need to drive the gate of the FET out of phase with the main boost switch which I assume is a N-channel FET. You need to make sure there is adequate dead time to prevent both FETs from being turned on at the same time (i.e. cross conduction or shoot thru).
