Dear Sir,
We knew that bq25970 is div/2 type charger (Vout = Vin/2), and want to know if there has div/4 type ( Vout = Vin/4 ) ?
Thanks,
Hugo

Hi Hugo,
We don't have div/4 type charge pump charger now? We would develop 4:1 charger in the future. May I know why 2:1 charge pump charger can't meet your requirement ? input current too high?
Thanks for reaching us.

Hi Alen,
We notice there is 120W or 100W fast charge application.
For 120W, it will be 20V/6A input to 5V/24A output....
Could it be achieved by using 2pcs bq25970 to regulate 20V/6A Vin to 10V/12A Vout, then 3pcs bq25970 to regulate 10V/12A Vin to 5V/24A Vout?
Thanks,
Hugo
Hi Hugo,
BQ25970 can't support 20Vin /10Vout.
We think the efficiency of this two stage topology would be too low, so 2s battery would be a better option for this power level fast charge.
Do you eagerly want to achieve 100~120W charging or just want to know the possibility?
Alen
Hi Alen,
It's enough to know the possibility at this moment.
Option of 2s or 2p battery could be considered.
Thanks,
Hugo
