As 3.3V systems get more common I am interested in LM4041A12ILP to test the reference and the design on breadboard. Is there any information when will it be available in TI WebShop?

Hi Laszlo
I will check with marketing team and let you know.
However LM4041C12ILPR is available on TI web store. You can use this part if you are okay with 0.5% initial accuracy (All other parameters are same as A grade).

Hi Trailokya,
I am working on DVM and 0.1% (or even better ) means 3 digit without calibration, so I prefer this product.
Thank you for your kind help!

Hi Laszlo
It will be good if you try other shunt references with 0.1% accuracy as suggested in previous post because they are easily available.
However the exact replacement to the LM4041A12ILP is the LM4041AIZ-1.2/NOPB.
They both have the same exact specs in accuracy 0.1% at T= 25C, and for T=-40 to 85C, they are both +/-9.2mV.
Additionally, the ppm/C is exactly the same at 15 ppm/C typical and 100ppm/C max. You can try this for TO-92 package.

Hi guys,
I think adapter board not the correct solution, I could solder lead for the SOT package and I can test, it but it looks terrible. Additionally, If I need higher precision I can use LM5050 but that has no 1.2V version.
So, I think it has no good solution right now and I hope there will be enough interest for this reference to change your mind.

Hi Laszlo,
The LM40xx families are divided into 2 parts.
The LM4040 and LM4050 are the 2V and higher fixed references.
The LM4041 and LM4051 are the 1.2V and adjustable versions.
Please check out the LM4051-N for a 1.2V reference
If you need a lower Iq 1.2V with high precision you can look into the REF1112.

Hi Marcoo,
it is a nice collection of voltage references but everything is in SOT-23. Advanced users can solder SOT-23 and I plan to build for sale with surface mount version.
Right now, I am designing DVM for beginners as a kit and they cannot work with small SMDs. TO-92 package version at least from a selection of voltage references would be important.
I know it is not a big market but maybe if you produced LM4041A12ILP for a dedicated order, would make sense to produce additional 1000 pcs for TI Webshop.
