Now , I want to use the GPCpackager to generate a package ,

but , I am not sure I used the rignt parameters :

Cell temination voltage in Volts : 3000(default) , I use 3500

Top SOC% interval to fit : 9 (default), I use 9 ,because I think it's OK

Bottom SOC% interval to fit : 3 (default) I use 9 ,because I think it's OK

I set Cell temination voltage in Volts to 3500, because I want the batttery not to discharge to a voltage under 3500.

What's the meaning of these parameters? and Have I set the right value?

Hi Lu,

For the cell termination voltage, it is okay to use a higher value (like 3500) if it makes sense for your battery. Some batteries might still have lots of capacity remaining at 3500mV, but for some battery types this might be much closer to empty. It would be good to discharge to a voltage slightly lower when collecting the data for the GPCCEDV tool (~3300mV) to give the tool enough data for a good curve fit.

FitMaxSOC% is typically 12 and FitMinSOC% is typically 6. These are good points to capture the slope of the curve. These should not be set to the same value as each other.

Should the parameter FitMinSOC% be set lower than the parameter SOC% where FCC learned?
