Hello. I have ev2400, trying to raise the battery after a full discharge from the macbook a1502 on the controller bg20z45 v7.02. When I try to read the data flash program gives an error reading Data Flash Subclass Voltage, Code = 772

Hi Pavel,

Your gauge is sealed. You need to get the unseal key so that you can access df. The df can't be accessed when sealed.

But how to do it? As far as I know, these batteries have the standard factory password.

To unseal go to the register window, in the write 2 word command box enter smbus command 00, word 1 to 0414 and word 2 to 3672, then click ok, your ss register flag should reset. Next send words 1 and 2 set to ffff and ffff. This should reset register flag fas. Now you can read your df.

After sending commands, the flags remain in place.

Hi Pavel,

That means your unseal and full access keys are different from defaults. You cannot unseal the gauge unless you know them.
