Dear Sir,
The schematic as attached, the charging current sets to 2A, I would like to know how to decide the Idc of L33 and why? thanks.

Hi Webber,
Section 9.2.2.2 in the datasheet provides guidelines on selecting an inductor. Specifically, Isat should be greater than Ichg + 0.5*Iripple. However, it's good to include some extra margin here. For example, the design example in Figure 37 uses the IHLP5050CE-01 inductor, which has Idc = 8.5 A and Isat = 16 A even though Ichg is only 3 A. The IHLP5050CE-01 inductor would also work for your application since your Ichg is only 2 A. Additionally, this inductor has a much lower DCR than the one in your schematic (24.8 mΩ vs. 188 mΩ).
For more details about inductor selection, you can also refer to this application report:

However, please note that the BQ24753A is NRND (not recommended for new designs). If you let me know your requirements, I can suggest a newer charger which can suit your application.
Best regards,
Angelo
