EMB1428Q: EMB1428Q without EMB1499

Part Number: EMB1428Q

Hello,

I have a question about EMB1428Q. I have to use EMB1428Q independently.(Without EMB1499)

I give a pink signal (01010000) from MCU(SPO) to the EMB1428Q(SPI) and the EMB1428Q(SPO) give a yellow signal (1010 0101) back to my MCU(SPI) as shown in picture.

The blue line in the figure is the CLK.

But the outputs of the gate and resource have no reaction.

The way of the connection :

Fault 0,1, and 2 connect to ground

Connect EN with a NOT gate and give to DONE

Connect DIR with a NOT gate and give to DIR_RT

Question:

1.We are confused about the signal of the RST. Has anyone known the signal of the RST?

2.Does anyone meet the same situation or have any information about using EMB1428Q independently?

    Hi User,

    We do not have any experience using this part without the EMB1499 as the intentions behind designing these parts were to be used in tandem, however for your second question - can you clarify your question about RST? I am bit confused on the information you are looking for.
