Hi, i'm wishing to repair a TV screen, my questions are: this chips comes with a common standard gamma curve values? I ask you because i think i have bought a fake chip, when it comes without blister my balls start to turn.. if it comes with no values, all blank, is there a standard common curve suitable for most of the screens and if yes where them are available? THANKS!! (MUCH IMPORTANT FOR ME).

Hi Davide,

BUF16821 has internal EEPROM for the power on/reset DAC's output values. After power on/reset the DAC outputs can be changed by the external controller. BUF16821 default EEPROM are set to half range, this can be reprogrammed up to 16 times to match the particular display requirements.

Hi, tahbks for the answer, my tv repair is gone ahead and that chip is no more required, it was a shorte mlcc cap on its VCC..
