UCC27423: Inquire TI device to replace IR25603

Part Number: UCC27423
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN6501, UCC27710, UC3842

Hi Sir,

May I learn from you do we have any solution could replace IR25603 and has “Self-Oscillating”?

Thank you.

Edward Chen

  • Hello Edward,

Thank you for the interest in TI products. TI does not have a 600V rated half bridge driver with the built in oscillator. Depending on the circuit usage, there may be TI devices that can work in the application.

If the fixed oscillation half bridge is intended to generate a bias supply, the SN6501 and SN6505 transformer drivers include the oscillator, protection, and power switches to drive a push pull transformer. The transformer provides the high voltage isolation and voltage conversion.

If a 600V rated driver function is required, the UCC27710 is a half bridge driver with 0.5A/1A drive current with interlock that can provide the driver function. The oscillator function can be generated with a controller such as the UC3842 to generate a 50% duty cycle.

Please confirm if this addresses your questions, or you can post additional questions on this thread.

    Regards,
