CSD15571Q2: CSD15571Q2 RDS off

Part Number: CSD15571Q2

Regarding the transistor (CSD15571Q2), what about RDS (OFF), how high is it?  Since we are using this device as switch we not only want that RDS ON be very low, but also RDS OFF to be very high, please provide the information you have about RDS OFF.

*Vfloat controlling this transistor is a digital signal (Maximum 3.3V, 0V minimum.)

  • Hi Luis,

Thanks for your interest in TI MOSFETs. We do not spec Rds(off) in the datasheet. However, we do spec leakage current, IDSS < 1uA with VGS = 0V, VDS = 20V and Tamb = 25C. Although, I found an error in the datasheet. It should be VDS = 16V. Using this specification, we can calculate Rds(off) = 16V/1uA = 16Mohm (minimum). IDSS increases with temperature of the FET. At 125C, the maximum IDSS measured during characterization is about 1.7mA. TI only tests IDSS at 25C in production and we cannot guarantee the max value at elevated temperature. However, you should be able to use this to size your resistor values appropriately.
