Hello；

I find UCD3138A64 Pin 61 & 62 proived External Crystal Clock.

How to use it ? Such as I want get 40mhz Clock ?

Does I input 40Mhz square wave into Pin61 & 62? Or I should conect a Crystal oscillator between the Pin61 & 62？
i will grateful, If have a example!

Please also note that the Ext. Crystal in UCD313A64 solely drives the real time clock peripheral and can not replace the main oscillator for the entire chip.

I have Read it but it dosen't say how to connect the Pin61 or 62?

Have any Simple Circuit Diagram to show how to connect the Pin61 & Pin62?

An external clock (Not Crystal Oscillator) of 10 MHz can be connected to pin #62 in order to drive the RTC block accurately.

This clock will not drive the whole UCD3138 circuitry and its frequency should be 10 MHz Max (Not 40 MHz).
