can the IC support spike of 20V?

If no, is there an equivalent IC with input voltage greater that 20V?

Hi Giuseppe,

Absolute maximum for the LM26480 is 6V, so it cannot be exposed to 20V.

Your other thread mentioned Buck2 and LDO2 might not be used, in which case the TPS65320-Q1 might be applicable.

can I use TPS65321A-Q1?

In this way can I connect direct Vin to Vin_LDO.

Has the nRST pin the same function of nPOR?

Hi Giuseppe,

Yes both will work. nRST is only dependent on the buck regulator, just as nPOR of the LM26480 is only dependent on the buck regulators. They both have PG thresholds around ~90%.
