BQ27532-G1: I2C of bq27532 issue

Hi,

There is an issue about the I2C of bq27532.

1.Power from battery => Sometimes, MCU can not read/write bq27532 via I2C. I2C of BQ24295 always works fine.

2.Unplug USB port => MCU can not read/write bq27532 via I2C.

3.Power from USB port (battery connected)=> no this issue.

Could you please help to check the schematic if any issue about this ?

Hi Jackson

Can you place scope probes as well as an i2c analyzer on the comm lines so we see why comm is failing. Also ensure that you are not mistaking clock stretching of the gauge as the inability to read or write to the gauge

Hi Onyx,

Please help to check the following waveform if anything wrong ?

There is the same I2C interface to connect to BQ24295 & BQ27532 <=> MCU.

Abnormal (BQ27532 no ack)

Can you capture the same commands on bqstudio for comparson. That will pin point what is wrong.
