Hello

I want to use LMZ12003TZX-ADJ/NOPB part to generate 5V @ 2A from 7V input.

But when i a, giving the above input at Webench it says design can not be created.

Is there any limitation with the input voltage as when i change the input to 8V design is created.

Hi AKASH,

The Webench design may be using a more conservative calculation which is preventing you from generating a 5V @2A from 7V input.

For your application, I would recommend sticking to 400kHz and lower such that the minimum off time is not violated.

Hi Akash,

R510 and R509 will create an enable divider that sets the rising UVLO to roughly 2.4V. Was this what you intended for the rising threshold?

Just wanted to double check since. Otherwise, everything else in the schematic looks okay.

Thanks for the review.

The voltage divider was implemented to protect the enable pin from direct 7V supply, as max voltage to the EN pin is 6V.
