UCC2897A: PMP3162 SR driver issue

My customer refers to the PMP3162 line, but when it happens to be transient (full load drops to no load), UCC27511 will die (U6 PIN6), how to deal with this problem, Thanks.

U6 is not shown on the sketch you attached.

Do you mean U4 or U3 ?

What are the other differences between this design and the PMP3162

Do you have any scope waveforms during this transient ?

You have not provide enough information to understand what the issue is.

Do you have any detail to support your statement that U6 pin 6 is failing ?
