TLV758P: tlv758p Vout drift issue

Part Number: TLV758P

Hi,

TLV758P now use in Vin: 3.3V, Vout: 1.2V, but when Vin has voltage ripple, then Vout will drift to 1.9V, measure Vin ripple is about 70mV, my question is:

1. What is TLV758P Vin ripple tolerance? i didn't find it in the datasheet.

2. Why Vin ripple will cause Vout drift? any possible reasons?

Thanks

  • Hi Mason,

    1. What is TLV758P Vin ripple tolerance? i didn't find it in the datasheet.

We normally don't have a ripple tolerance speicification for LDO. However, you can use PSRR curves to estimate the voltage ripple at the output using the amplitude of ripple at the input and ripple frequencies.

    2. Why Vin ripple will cause Vout drift? any possible reasons?

In order to identify possible causes on the shift, wil you provide a clean measurement that shows the voltage of Vin, Vout and FB pins?
